Happy snail mail holiday!

I participated in a holiday snail mail card swap with some of my far-flung illustrator/designer friends, and wow...I am so glad I did! When I opened the mail slot yesterday and found this gorgeously patterned envelope from England, I really jumped for joy! And then the fab illustrated lady just made my day. I love the work of my friend Jo Chambers so much!                 I also had fun illustrating/designing our card this year. I went all out in the old fashioned sense. While I was working, there were some Rankin Bass movies playing in the background and I couldn't help but be influenced by their old timey charms.
